
The following students were recognized this morning for exhibiting the Ripley Character Traits. Students names and actions were read on the morning announcements. Keep up the good work of demonstrating: Leadership, Respect, Responsibility, Grit, and Thankfulness.



Students in grades 1, 3, 5, and 6 went on a tubing adventure to Peek’n Peak today. This was the first tubing experience for many of our students. It’s always nice to observe students when they are faced with a task that is outside of their comfort zone.



Second grade took initiative on Wednesday to pick up trash that blew onto campus over the weekend. They filled three bags and even found one of the town banners that hang on the telephone poles which they then returned so it could be rehung. Thank you for showing such leadership!


PK4 students have been learning about maps. Students pictured below are working diligently to create maps of the zoo. It is fun to see the different ways each child thinks. Great job scholars!

Students in Ms. Sanderson's PK4 class earned an adventure for their outstanding behavior. The PK scholars enjoyed visiting the school's Lego Lab and had a great time getting creative. Check out the awesome house Landon built.


There are 6 Oscar Meyer Weiner Mobiles currently traveling around the US right now. Look who made a pit stop at Meeder's for lunch! The driver was kind enough to give our students a tour.


RCS students celebrated 100 days of learning today. Kindergarteners counted to 100 using multiple objects and grade three students pretended that they were 100 years old. What a fun day it was!


Mr. Lemanski visited our fourth grade classrooms yesterday to share about his 35 years of service in the armed forces as well as to present each student with an American Flag. The students asked great questions and are excited to participate in the American Legions essay contest!

Blue Shirt Friday was in full effect in Ms. Rowe's class today! Students at RCS are encouraged to show their school spirit by wearing blue every Friday. Great job kindergarten scholars!

First grade scholars are working together to plan their design for a lighthouse. Students will build and develop their own code to communicate using only light (similar to morse code). Needless to say science has a become a favorite time of the day in first grade.

Mrs. Blair's 4th graders learned all about how generators produce electricity. They learned how mechanical energy is turned into electric energy and even used a hand generator to produce their own electricity!! Way to go scholars!
