Eagle U students explored our new courts today - basketball, tennis, pickleball, and 4 square. The public will have access from dawn to dusk, thanks to Lakeshore Paving! Excitement abounds!
Week 2 of Eagle U, student were able to enjoy the beautiful weather that Mother Nature has to offer. From making huge bubbles to golfing outdoors. Students have been having a great time.

On Friday, June 16th, the 4th-grade students came together during their Crew time to prepare breakfast as a team. It was a wonderful experience that showcased how food can bring people closer and foster a sense of community and fellowship.
On Wednesday, June 21, we celebrated the achievements of our graduating 6th grade class. It has been a delight to have this group at RCS, and we are thrilled to see them transition into the next chapter of their academic journey as 7th graders in the upcoming fall at CLCS.
Yesterday, PK4 embarked on an exciting Creek Adventure, creating a memorable experience filled with fascinating discoveries and fun. Looking under a log or rock leads to discovery. This might be a life lesson. A big thank you to the teachers for making this experience possible.
Grade 6 students participated in a Moving Up Day at Chautauqua Lake on Friday. Students were excited to see one another again and did a great job of completing a scavenger hunt that took them all over the campus. A big thank you to the CLCS teachers that made this event possible.
Our kindergarten scholars celebrated the father figures in their lives this past Friday during their Doughnuts for Dads event. There was singing, dancing, poetry, and doughnuts. All of the students did a great job and there may have been some misty eyes in attendance.
The following students were recognized with Eagle Wings during the morning announcements. Students earn their 'wings' by exhibiting the RCS Character Traits of Respect, Responsibility, Leadership, Thankfulness, and Grit. Great job scholars!
Thursday, June 15, marked a big moment as the PK4 graduation took place, creating an unforgettable experience. The graduating students showcased their talents as they sang and danced their way towards the next phase of their educational journey: kindergarten.
During the morning announcements, there was a well-deserved recognition for a group of exceptional students who achieved Eagle Wing status. Their remarkable accomplishments were acknowledged with great enthusiasm, and rightfully so. Way to finish strong!
RCS students had a wonderful concert on Tuesday evening. The Art Projects and Lego Robotics also showcased exceptional creativity and ingenuity. The dedication and talent displayed by the students was truly remarkable. A big thank you to the families that came to visit!
RCS students participate in 3 adventures each year. Our adventure program is designed to push students out of their comfort zone and help them to realize that they are capable of more than they thought possible. Grade 6 used grit at the high ropes course at Peek'n Peak on 6/13.
The Chautauqua Lake Senior Class paid a visit to RCS for a memorable graduation parade today. The enthusiasm of our youngest scholars as they cheered on the seniors was truly heartwarming. A big thank you goes out to CLCS for making the trip down the hill!
On Saturday, June 10th, the Boys on the Right Track participants successfully completed their 5K event. We would like to express our appreciation to all of the buddy runners who dedicated their time and effort to make this day special for the boys. The kids did great and a RCS runner finished 3rd overall! Great job on a wonderful season.
We are thrilled to announce that Ms. Gollnitz's grade 3 class has made a tremendous impact through their Better World Day service project. Their dedication and compassion have resulted in the collection of 37 toys, 54 pairs of socks, 47 toothbrushes, and 15 tubes of toothpaste for Project Love Bear. This remarkable contribution will undoubtedly bring joy and support to those in need. We commend our scholars for their outstanding efforts and remind them that they have the power to make a positive difference in the world. Keep up the excellent work, and continue inspiring others with your kindness and generosity.
Fourth-grade had an incredible painting adventure at Ripley Rod and Gun Club. Students had a blast playing games and expressing their creativity through ocean scenes. We extend our gratitude to the Rod and Gun Club for making this experience extra special and memorable for all.
Exciting news! Grade 5 and 6 students welcomed six adorable chicks today! 🐥🎉 The students have been learning about the different stages of the chicks development during their science block. Hopefully we'll have even more tomorrow!
Students planted pumpkin seeds in a field behind the bus garage, thanks to Knight Farms' generous land allocation during recess today. They'll visit in October to see the fruits of their labor. Kudos to Knight Farms for their support!
The RCS Girls on the Run participants successfully completed their 5K race this past Sunday. It was a fantastic day with beautiful weather, which added to the overall experience. I am incredibly proud of each student for their remarkable performance and dedication. Well done!
