Mrs. Gestwicki's class celebrated their writing with a gallery walk featuring each child's favorite piece. First grade scholars walked around the room, immersed in the ambiance of classical music, while reading their classmates' books. We have some serious first grade writers!
Grade 3 students are currently learning about force and motion during their science lessons. They recently engaged in a hands-on learning experience by constructing marble roller coasters. This activity explored the fundamental concepts of gravity and friction. Great job!
Tomorrow is school picture day! Blue Shirt Friday has been cancelled for this week. Please have students dress for their school pictures. Thank you.

Reminder: All Mum orders and money are due Friday, September 15. Students that sell 10 or more mums will receive a free 2023-2024 yearbook. Please have your child bring in order forms and money and give to their teacher. As always, thank you for your support.
RCS will have a daily (M-F) sports bus run for students returning to Ripley. The bus will be at CLCS from 5:15 - 5:50 pm. Bus will depart promptly at 5:50 pm to return to RCS. If you have questions or concerns, please contact the RCS Bus Garage at 716-736-7614. Thank you.
4th grade students collaborated to create their classroom social contract. This document details the expectations for how students wish to be treated by both their teacher and their peers. To signify their commitment to this contract, both students and teachers signed the doc!
Reminder: The RCS school year begins on Tuesday, September 5 for all Pk3 to grade 6 students. Classes begin at 8 am. Please arrive by 7:35 am if you plan to eat breakfast at school. See everyone soon.

Ripley Central School will be hosting an Open House on Thursday, August 31 from 5:00-6:30 pm. This will be a great opportunity to meet your child's/children's teacher(s) and drop off any school supplies. We hope to see you then.

Eagle-U came to a close today. Students had a fun filled summer with friends, reading, learning, and playing. Thank you to all of the teachers for donating their time and talents over the summer break.
In addition to reading throughout the summer Eagle-U students receive swimming lessons each week. These fish are having a great time with their friends.
Eagle-U students painted bird houses this week during their arts and crafts time. Ripley's birds will have beautiful spots to stop for their meals.
Eagle-U students went on a walking field trip to beautify Ripley with painted rocks. Nice job scholars!
Students are having a great time at Eagle-U this summer. They've been taking on various challenges and art projects. They have also had the opportunity to learn new sports such as golf and swimming. The best part is that all of the kids have continued to read throughout the summer! The atmosphere is filled with excitement and growth as these young learners make the most out of their time at Eagle-U.
We will be giving away backpacks full of school supplies this Wednesday from 10-2pm. All are welcome and encouraged to stop by.
